Last week was a very busy week for me, I was doing some projects, and I barely got any good sleep. It’s tough for my under eyes. I can literally see my black circles become more visible. Today I will review and swatch a new concealer I recently purchased, Laura Mercier Flawless Fushion Ultra Longwear Concealer.
“A medium to full coverage, weightless concealer that hydrates and blurs, with 12 hours of crease-resistant wear.”
Concealer is always a must-have for me, whether it’s for imperfection on my face or for under eyes. A few weeks ago, I was on Sephora app checking “Just Arrived” new makeup, I saw this Laura Mercier concealer, it got tons of good reviews so I decided to give it a try. Plus I am almost run out of my M.A.C concealer (feel I always have excuses to buy something new). There are 12 shades in total, pick the right colors online always takes me long time. However this time it was surprisingly easy for me, with the help of swatches I found on Google I picked 2N-light with neutral undertone.
Before(I think smile made my dark circles less visible lol):
After I put the concealer on, the first came into my mind was this is definitely lighter than NARS cream concealer and more hydrating than it. I love the doe-foot applicator, it's easy to use. The brand suggests to blend the product with fingertips. I used a brush on my left side and used my fingertip to blend the concealer on my right side. Turned out, it did blend better with my fingertip because of the warmth. Comparing these two methods, I feel I still need to use my beauty blender next time.
Overall, this concealer is amazing! It has a good coverage and blends very well. A little of it goes a long way. Not to mention the long-last power! It’s outstanding. However, I expected more coverage, because my dark circles still visible. It might because I was concerned if put too much product it would crease, so I only put one thin layer. I think I might get a better result if I had put more layer.
Have you tried this concealer? Any other recommendations, let me know!
